We’re looking for a passionate Front End Developer to work with our UX lead and back-end developers.

Word-of-mouth is currently inefficient – finding the right person for a recommendation is accidental; remembering that recommendation is the exception. LoveThis makes word-of-mouth simple, quick, and efficient.

LoveThis helps customers to navigate the incredible number of choices they have on how to spend their time and money, by giving them access to the tried and tested recommendations of the people they trust most – their friends. By doing so, it helps consumers: find new things to do, with the confidence that they’ll enjoy them. save time searching for the best solutions. sharing things which they’ve already enjoyed amongst their friends,quickly and easily.

Previous Experience required: - Have written high quality, compliant HTML, JSON, CSS and unobtrusive JavaScript (jquery) along with cross browser debugging experience. - Have a passion for building elegant, highly responsive user experiences - Solid understanding of web application architecture, ie server side and database operations - 1-3 years experience in a similar position at a rapidly evolving company. - Familiar with version control systems (git, svn) - Solid communication skills (brainstorming, design, planning). - Advocating best practices, usability, design principles and accessibility. - Some experience working using Agile methodology (scrum/kanban).

Bonus - Experience with design and development for mobile web, iPhone or Android. - Experience with web frameworks, eg Ruby on Rails. - Previous experience working in a small team / startup environment - Skills to explore the boundaries of what’s possible with JavaScript - Experience with Twitter and Facebook Social Graph API. - Familiar with test automation tools.
